Our Pastor, Charles Westmoreland
Charles Westmoreland a teacher, motivational speaker, life coach, renowned, anointed praise and worship leader, choir director, lead soloist, music workshop facilitator, Men's Conference speaker, song writer and the Senior Pastor and Founder of Restoration Community Ministries in Stockbridge Ga. He has been ministering in song and teaching the Word of God for over 40 years. He is an anointed and passionate Bible Teacher who uses real world applications, interwoven with humor and wisdom to help others overcome challenges with the direct application of the Word of God through the Scriptures. He exemplifies and encourages other individuals to live a victorious life in the face of adversity, through daily study and worship within the presence of God. Charles is the CEO of Phileo Community Services, a nonprofit organization, commissioned to reach the community by empowering families and ultimately changes their lives. He believes in spreading the gospel and providing hope beyond the four walls of the church.
Under the leadership of Pastor Charles, The Westmoreland Chorale has successfully ministered to crowds around the country for 25 years and continues to impact the church through community events, and conferences. The Chorale was nominated in three categories in 1994 at the “People Choice Awards” in Atlanta for: “Producer of the Year”, “Choir of the Year”, and “Song of the Year”, for their project “Arise O’ Judah”. Pastor Charles was the recipient of the 2006 Atlanta Gospel Choice Awards and was honored with the “Best Choir Director of the Year” award.
Since the birth of the Chorale, four CD’s have been released and sold around the country. The Westmoreland Chorale has debuted with such artist as Yolanda Adams, Fred Hammond, Ann Nesby, Bebe Winans, The Gatlin Brothers, Byron Cage, Vickie Winans, Dottie Peoples, Melvin Williams, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, The Mighty Clouds of Joy, Dr. Bobby Jones, Candi Staton, Bishop Paul Morton, and many other well know artist. Pastor Charles has been featured on television programs including, Good Day Atlanta-FOX 5, WATC-TV57 and TBN.
In 2015 Pastor Westmoreland received his Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies and is currently working on his Master’s Degree from North Carolina College of Theology. He is married to his lovely wife, Deloris, of 30 years and together they have one son and daughter-in- law, Darius and Zequoia, who are a very intricate part of their dynamic ministry. Pastor Charles inherited a great value for family from his father and mother, thus, he teaches the greatest success a man could ever achieve is to have a healthy family life. Hence, Pastor Charles is ecstatic about serving in ministry with his family as they, together, impact the lives of God's people.
Pastor Charles travels nationally and internationally to places such as: Paris France, London England, Athens Greece, Rome Italy, New Delhi India, Korea, Cambodia, Japan, Dubai and Africa just to name a few. He is currently working on his first solo project and his first book titled, “Beyond 5 Star Worship”, to be released in 2018.
